These days many designers, along with myself, are using the WordPress platform much more regularly.  I was introduced to WordPress several years ago and started using the platform for blogging sites or any site needing to edit data on a regular basis. 

3D software can be rather expensive and for a person who is only looking to create some logos or general graphics might find the cost vs benefits a bit on the costly side.  For expert graphics designers, this may be a seen it, done it article,

Adobe announced earlier this month they are moving away from perpetual licensing and only offering upgrades and new software via their creative cloud program.  ”We have no current plans to release another perpetual release of the CS tools and suites.

You may have heard the term Vector Art or Vector Graphic because its a term that is used significantly more than Raster. Photoshop is primarily a raster image editor, and Illustrator is a Vector editor.

I’m sure there will be many more articles to come about this topic, but I wanted to at least get the conversation started. Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics program and so is Xara’s Designer Pro X.
