How to create your own business cards using Photoshop. This video will guide you through a typical business card model.   This video will use a template that is provided below. This template uses a 3.5″ x 2″ template format which is the most common for today’s business cards. The template shows the exact trim areas for most printers along with safe and bleed zones. The template is also in a CMYK format which is the most common print color model used today. Enjoy.

NOTE: These Templates are for 3.5″ x 2″ standard US business cards. Enjoy!

I just created a back and front in separate files and now have no idea how to print them together front and back… Any suggestions/help?

When you upload these files to a printer, the printer will ask for the front file and then the back file. I typically name my files something like filename_FRONT.pdf and filename_BACK.pdf before uploading. If you are printing yourself, then you would need to download a template from Avery or something similar and print the front and back separately.

Hey there.. Just trying to figure out how to add the logo.. I can’t see how you do it on the video :) Also would you happen to know how to change a pdf file to jpeg? Or would it still work? Hope to hear back from you soon..

    Thank you,
    Lisa

I literally drag it from the folder into photoshop… photoshop is intuitive and it will format it as a smart object. Another option is to open the image in photoshop as a separate project and then select all and copy merged and then move into your business card template and paste it onto a new layer. Hope this helps… I’ll also send this in an email.

Tony, first off, good tutorial. Second: the links to the template downloads is gone. Third, the white text on this comments section is next to impossible to read.
